Le blog est mort, vive le blog !

BY THE EDITORS

Okay, guys, time to give you another heads-up and tell you why we haven't updated this blog in eight months and let it die a long, slow death...

Eight months is quite some time in which you can realize a lot of things. Which we did:

When it comes to Vicente, he has finished all of his classes of his Translation Studies in Gran Canaria *applause* and now only has his thesis and internship to finish. He has been selected to do an intership for a Spanish NGO in Gran Canaria that helps refugees find a new home.

After dreading and postponing it for nearly three years (which is kind of an achievement as well that might even deserve its own applause), Elien eventually wrote and handed in her graduation thesis and FINALLY finished her Journalism Studies. She now holds a Master in Translation Studies and one in Journalism Studies. *Hurray* But that's not all that has happened.

You might have wondered why the title of this blog post is in French. Well, after the VRT project for which Elien worked came to an end, she found a job at Microsoft and moved to Lille, France, for that. She's been living and working there for almost half a year now, so you might expect some blog posts about la douce France ;)

That's it for our heads-up blog post. We've been places (not only Lille), we've experienced things and we'd like to share it with you. Hopefully this time on a more regular base. In the meantime you can find a sort of 'preview' below.

Hope you are well and see you soon!

Elien & Vince
